The host is good. They make you feel like home. We extended our stay for one day. And stayed at their place only. Stay felt like home.

Clean rooms and owner and his family were very friendly. They were available all the time and did their best to provide best level of service. My stay was very pleasant. Location is just near the river so main ghat, temples and temple corridor is easily accessible. They provide food also at the property. They have a small terrace with amazing view of the river. Staying with the owners was like living with family. I really appreciate their support and how they try their best to make our stay comfortable. The owners also shared places of attraction and food joints to try. Also help you navigate and guide how to reach any spot in the city.

It’s value for money. So be ready to expect what you get for what you pay. The rooms lacked ventilation and had stairs which were very high. While it was ok for me, might be an issue for slight my old people. Rickshaw or auto will not come to the property, so be prepared to walk around 500 meters. If you have luggage you will have to manage on your own. But I appreciate the fact that the owner disclosed all of this well in advance, even before taking booking amount from me. So I really appreciate this. Owner as host and their behaviour and support makes the stay great.

Very rude host. You have to climb a mountain of stairs to go to the room. All rooms are the same size so no point of paying extra just small. You have to walk a lot to reach this location. It looks close to the temple but you have to walk at least 20-30 min to reach. Very overpriced. Don't go on positive reviews.

I recently stayed at Sukoon Homestay near Scindia Ghat in Varanasi, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of my trip. The experience felt very personal from the start. The owner himself came to pick us up, which was a big help considering how confusing the lanes of Varanasi can be. He was polite, helpful, and always available whenever needed. The location is a major advantage. Most of the important ghats are within walking distance, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple is just about 200 meters away. It makes exploring the city very easy and relaxed. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and comfortable. Service was smooth throughout the stay. The food was another highlight. Aunty’s home-cooked meals were simple, fresh, and really tasty. It felt like proper home food rather than typical hotel meals. The best part of the stay was the terrace. It directly faces the ghats and the Ganga. Watching the sunrise and sunset from there was peaceful and unforgettable. If you want to experience Varanasi at its core, you must stay at this place.
