Sukoon River Homestay

First of all the home stay is very very close to the Ghats and river . Host hospitality is very good. Food is prepared by host mother and it’s very very tasty . Rooms are clean and hygiene . I will definitely refer friends or family to stay here when they visit Varanasi .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sukoon River Homestay in Varanasi, and it truly lived up to its name—Sukoon. Located near the serene banks of the Ganga River and in close proximity to the sacred Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the homestay offers the perfect blend of spirituality, comfort, and convenience. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, providing a peaceful environment after exploring the vibrant lanes of the city. The facilities were up to the mark, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay. A special mention to Mr. Shubham for his warm hospitality and attentive nature. He made sure that every guest feels at home, which truly enhances the overall experience. I would highly recommend Sukoon River Homestay to anyone visiting Varanasi—whether for spiritual reasons or simply to experience the charm of the city of ghats. Everything was good. Do visit if you want to explore the narrow lanes of Varanasi.

The Location of this place is very good, its near to ghat and few fav eatery.

There was no geyser

I had a really pleasant stay here and would definitely recommend it. The host was fantastic—he even came halfway to pick me up from the streets of Varanasi, which was a thoughtful gesture and made the arrival much easier. Its location is a big advantage, as most of the key spots in Varanasi are within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the city. Overall, a great stay with a very helpful host!

The only minor drawbacks were that the room size could have been a bit better, and the bathroom is not en suite. However, these didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.

The host Shubham was not cooperative however his parents were cooperative the location is very far from the road and it is very difficult for old people to come there beside that the didn't have basic facility like warm water even I have told them that I have a child of 10 month with me and I need warm water for the bathing but they refused and said that it is not return in booking.com I am highly satisfied with their services there location is far the rooms were on the second and third floor and the average size of a stairs are very big I don't recommended to anyone one star from my side.

Não posso pedir mais atendendo ao preço. Para quem tem muito peso de bagagem tem de estar preparado porque há muitas escadas.

Good facilities and good value for money

Location of the homestead and surrounding area was unhygienic. Also there was no mention of cars not reaching the location, which should have been informed/ mentioned

Friendly staff who helped us with our needs. Gave us recommendations and provided us a service to book train tickets. Comfortable place.

Very high stairs, if you have problems with your knees, this is smth you need to be aware of. It located in the lane of Varanasi, if you're travelling alone and are for the first time in Varanasi, you should know.

Shubham was an amazing host! Always ready to help or to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We could always contact him and he even came and found us when we were walking through the little streets. The bed was comfortable and the area is quiet around the place. Aircon was working well en we slept really well. Overall a good stay! It’s walking distance from the Ghats which is where you want to be when visiting Varanasi!

The bathroom was ok but could’ve been a bit cleaner. The room and home was Basic but has everything need and is value for money.

Очень маленькая комната, вдвоем тесно, общий санузел на этаже, нет вентиляции в комнате, было очень душно и много комаров
