Sukoon River Homestay

The stay is located in a very good spot with most of the main temples/places at a walking distance. Rooms are clean and decent. But the main thing that you will fall in love with is the host family. Their hospitality is better than most 4 star hotels, food homely cooked with love. Very accommodating. And the warmth that they kept us with.

The location was fantastic. Shubman is a great host and a great person overall. The terrace views are outstanding.

Shubham as a host was extremely helpful from the start he assisted me throughout the trip, homestay was located close to the river in the heart of old varanasi u will have to walk abit to reach there, he showed me nearby places and arranged a private boat ride as well, home cooked food of his mother was delicious. Views of river from terrace is beautiful I loved it truly worth it, i recommend the stay to everyone

Had a wonderful stay at Sukoon River Stay Kaashi. The location is peaceful with a lovely river view, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A big thank you to Shubam for his warm hospitality and kind service—he truly made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in Varanasi!

The property is spotlessly clean. Close to the ghats. But above all I must mention about their hospitality which was exceptional . It is really a homestay not a hotel/lodge in disguise. Food was awesome and fresh from the kitchen. Shubham, the host is found responsible and responsive round the clock. The terrace is good to see the Ganges. The temple is close as described in the app.

The approach road(lane) from the nearest road is a little bit difficult to find however google will help you out. Regarding facilities there is no wardrobe in the room and really difficult to keep your luggage and clothings. No geyser found in washroom which would be difficult during winter time.

I spent a night at Sukoon Riverside Homestay and it turned out to be just what I needed. From the moment I arrived, the host Shubham made me feel completely at ease and even took the time to show me around the area. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way when you’re travelling solo. The homestay itself was spotless and cosy and the view from the terrace was stunning. It’s a quiet, genuine place that stays with you even after you leave. Plus, to mention the Aloo Paratha from their home kitchen menu was delicious.

We really got along with the host. We talked about the city and Hindu culture. He showed us his temple which was a very touching moment. I advise you to go on the roof early in the morning or at night when the sun is not too hot.
