Unglaubliche Lage, direkt am Eingang des Regenwaldes. Großer Essbereich mit leckerem Buffet. Schöner Blick auf den Garten und Seerosenteich.

Zimmer sind leider ein wenig feucht, aber wir sind hier im Regenwald und es regnet sehr viel. Sonst alles sauber.

Location was great. Right by rainforest and the grounds were full of wildlife. Monkeys, birds, lizards, spiders etc. Breakfast was good with excellent freshly made omlettes.

The scam is to put people in a damp, smelly, ugly room then offer them an upgrade for extra money. We contested this and got a free upgrade but the showers didn’t have any water apart from a trickle even though room was better. Dinner was poor for the money- little choice and poor quality. They basically want to fleece you with rooms and tours. Also we had laundry done as desperate - very expensive!!! Go to village and get it done for a fraction of the price.

Very beautiful setting! The location is right on the edge of the forest so you can enter it very easily on foot (with a guide). There is great nature on site - we saw lots of lizards, birds, butterflies, monkeys and even a snake. There are also 2 very cute puppies! It was very peaceful. The food was great. It was a buffet breakfast (included in the price) and buffet dinner which typically included curry or kottu type dishes. Some reviews complained about this being expensive, but I think 2500r for a buffet meal is reasonable given the remote location and the fact you can go back for more. There's also a lunch and drinks menu, though we didn't use this. Our (upgraded) room had good Aircon and the bed was comfortable. The pool is nice, but we found a leech in there so be careful. The hotel arranged to collect us for free from a local village in a jeep because the entrance is on a dirt road that would be quite hard for a taxi or tuk tuk to get through. This was really helpful. The staff work hard. They even brought breakfast back out for us one morning even though we had missed the breakfast slot because of our jungle walk. We really appreciated this.

As soon as we arrived we were shown different rooms to upgrade to. This meant we got a better room with Aircon (for an extra $10 a night) but it felt quite pushy on the moment of arrival and I heard them do the same with all other new guests that arrived. I'm glad we upgraded because our initial rooms looked pretty bad...this was the cabin opposite the pool - the beds were tiny, there were holes in the walls and no aircon or mosquito net. The rooms we changed to were much better - the double rooms opposite the pond. It felt like this is possibly a ploy they use to show people the 'bad rooms' so that they upgrade for the more expensive rooms. Tours were also pushed on us when we arrived. We opted for an external morning birdwatching tour which was good, so can't comment on what the hotel's jungle tour was like. However, we opted into the night tour which was a bit disappointing. The guide was nice and knew of different things to point out, but the path was just up the road we arrived on, not the jungle. Our group had already done this walk ourselves in the day - it was nothing particularly special as we spent a lot of time walking past people's homes and shops etc. It felt overpriced for what it was ($30 each), but were told that this was the price for including headlamp and leech socks, so it may be cheaper if you bring your own stuff. However, I wouldn't recommend it - you could do the same walk yourself for free, and probably see fewer insects etc without the guide, but a lot of the creatures we'd seen in the jungle walk earlier in the day anyway. I would recommend looking for external tours before you arrive, as the ones offered by the hotel seem overpriced. The shower in our room didn't get hot and the tap was constantly flowing a small amount as it didn't turn off properly. This was an annoying noise to sleep to and also wasteful. We had a mini fridge in our room which was nice to keep our water cold.

The first room we were given had a very strong mold smell and visible mold signs all over wall. One of the walls was completely wet and damp. I contacted the manager immediately. She did not come to see the problem herself and instead sent staff members. We were told we had to pay an additional 30 USD to change to another room without mold. After discussion, this was reduced to 20 USD extra. Unfortunately, the second room was also unacceptable. During the night, there was a strong smell of human feces. At first, we thought it was coming from outside, but then our child woke up feeling sick because of the smell. We discovered that the odor was coming from the bedding itself (blanket bag). It was clear that the bedding had not been properly cleaned. If you care about your child’s health, please do not book this accommodation. Mold is toxic to humans, and the mold smell in the first room was extremely strong. This was a very unpleasant experience, especially while staying with a child. Serious hygiene issues and poor handling by management.

Het terras uitkijkend op de jungle en de vijver was geweldig! Veel wilde dieren vanaf daar al kunnen zien, zoals een grote zwemmende varaan, zwarte apen en prachtige vogels.

В номере и бассейне не большая 2х спальная кровать, примерно 1,5 м. Мы сразу смотрели размещение 2+1, и с ребёнком (года) еле поместились. Равнозначной замены не предложили, потому что 2х местные номера все были заняты. Но над нами был один 3х местный (а нас как раз было 3 взр и 1 ребёнок и забронировано 2 номера), так вот нам предложили 1 номер заменить на трёхместный, там хорошая большая кровать и ещё односпальная. По стоимости в 2 раза выше. Мы просили оба наших номера заменить на 1 большой, всё равно получалось с доплатой. Но нам отказали) говорят один заменим, а 2 нет😄 не невыгодно получается. Это было очень неприятно. Но предлагали матрас, который можно положить на пол🤣 спасибо великодушно, но мы отказались. В остальном всё отлично.

Die Lage direkt am Rainforest, das Restaurant, da unkomplizierte Organisieren von Touren usw., die freundlichen Menschen da und die herrliche Natur.

Alles soweit ok, besser ist es, unten zu wohnen, da dort Sitzgelegenheiten vor den Zimmern sind. Moskitonetz ist empfehlenswert, da ich einige Moskitos tummeln.
