La stanza in stile giapponese ti fa davvero calare nell' atmosfera e anche l'onsen è piacevole dopo una giornata di viaggio. Bello indossare lo yukata. Buona posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dal molo. Cena e colazione giapponesi molto abbondanti e tipiche.

Peccato che non parlando inglese le cameriere, pur essendo molto gentili e disponibili, non riescano a spiegare i numerosi piatti e piattini serviti per colazione e cena. Prezzo molto alto anche rispetto a tutti i servizi.

The staff were incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to help us feel welcomed and comfortable. The room was traditional, it was an experience! The food was super and staff super hard working! All The staff at reception were exceptional! They always on hand to help, helped me with my luggage to and from the Ferry station (shuttle service), always greeting you and making sure you were well looked after with requests you may have. Actually I have to say this place did go way above and beyond - highly recommend this hotel and I for sure would stay here again - beautiful Island, traditional hotel and fantastic, super friendly staff - well done!!!

Das japanische Zimmer war super. Riesengroß (für sechs Personen ausgelegt), schöner Blick über die Bucht von Miyajima. Gut gelegen, etwas außerhalb, aber zu Fuß vom Hafen aus gut erreichbar. Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, die ausgenommene Freundlichkeit hat vieles wett gemacht. Das japanische Frühstück war sehr schmackhaft und sehr gut präsentiert. Der Onsen (getrennt) was sauber und großzügig. Auf Nachfrage bekam man auch immer frische Handtücher. Toilettenartikel waren frei erhältlich. Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher sowie Fernseher auf dem Zimmer.

Uns hat beim Abendessen die Erklärung der Speiseregeln und Reihenfolge auf Englisch gefehlt, da wir noch nie so ein aufwändiges Menü hatten. Der handy-Übersetzer scheiterte leider an der japanischen Beschreibung. Das gesamte Essen war leider sehr fad, obwohl es schön hergerichtet war. Leider waren aber die Appetizer schon angetrocknet, obwohl wir die erste Speisezeit hatten. Es gab keine Möglichkeit zum Nachwürzen, das Personal im Speisesaal konnte kein Englisch und hat unsere Nachfrage nicht verstanden. Die Hausschuhe sind zwar nachhaltig, aber schon stark ausgetreten… Es ist ein schon älteres Hotel mit einigen Abnutzungserscheinungen.

The hotel was in a perfect location to see all the highlights of the island and we really enjoyed experiencing the typical tatame floors and bedding as well as the communal bath before bed.

The "restaurant" was a big hall that resembled a large cafeteria and the waiters seemed in a rush for us to eat and didn't explain anything.
