Beach front apartment

The location was great. The kitchen was well equipped.

There is only street parking, which is not easy to find on a sunny weekend day because of the proximity to the beach. The shower did not drain properly, very quickly filling the tray to over flowing. This was known to the owner. The double bed had been inexplicably been inbuilt up against the wall, meaning if the person nearest the wall needed to get up in the night, they had to clamber over the other person in the bed. No instructions for operating the central heating. The TV was internet only. There is no iron or ironing board. The corridor and stairs to the flat stank of stale cigarettes.

Was great staying here and exploring Edinburgh & Portobello. Everything was just as we’d hoped for, clean & comfortable and well equipped. Buses to & from the city were quick & easy and Portobello has plenty of shops bares & restaurants on hand.

Great place to stay!

Great location, great communication from Matthew. Very clean, comfortable and stylish accomadation. Lots of nice places to eat, next to the beach, lovely walk on promenade. Number 19 and 26 bus goes regularly from the high street 2 min walk away in to edinburgh.

Compact.. neat and tidy..very close to the beach front .. and a short walk from the high street facilities.. property owner was quick to reply to any queries that we had..

the shower drain needs some attention as it can be a little slow to empty..a label on the cutlery drawer would also help with the confusion of where it is situated inside another drawer..and a folder with some local information about the area would also be helpful..
