Livermead House Hotel

The location was good for what we wanted, close to the sea and attractions. The swimming pool and hot tub were a nice touch, the hot tub was a lovely temperature, the pool however very cold as not heated. The staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much to ask. There is a little area of things to buy incase you’ve forgotten anything which is handy.

The food was awful and expensive, the quality of food served (hot) was very poor but presented nicely. We were told tea and coffee was free but we’re billed at the end of our stay. The bar is very pricey. The hotel rooms are outdated and fairly small. We had to upgrade our room for another £80. The outdoor pool could use a heater.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Maybe a couple more disabled car parking spaces.

I booked this for my elderly parents and son as a birthday present and my mum LOVED the stay! She particularly loved the charm of the staff having carnations in their buttonholes. Thank you for upgrading them to a sea view as well.

We only stayed for one night therefore it would be unfair for me to comment as we did not use facilities
