Location

Room was filthy. We had no hot water our whole stay. We reported both issues to the staff multiple times and no one seemed to care. We were told both times that someone would look into it and no one ever responded.

The staff were fantastic, the location would be great under normal circumstances and it was clean. The rooftop is beautiful 🤩

Construction going on across the road so extremely noisy all day long! That’s the only downfall!

LOVED the rooftop pool and space! Great place to hangout and Angel (the bartender) is the sweetest!

The shower wasn’t the best… bad pressure and wasn’t always hot. It was also a bit loud because it is close to all the clubs.

Not aware that it was an Airbnb booking and had booked to pay at property, so not able to pay when checking in. Guy at reception quite rude, owner not available to attend to facilitate payment, nominated a time he could attend to take payment then was a no show! Kind of spoilt my New Years day not knowing when payment could be finalised…. or if police were going to arrive! Room nothing like photo, no linen for sofa bed…

We loved how we were close to the water and also close to the "action." There was the main tourist walking street right near us, so that was entertaining in itself, just to walk around. The rooftop pool made the whole rental worth it. That was the main selling point. So great. And awesome city and ocean views! Also, the pool made the place a unique way to meet new people of all walks of life. We also had streaming abilities in our rooms on the TVs...when we got too much sun that day! The staff were super helpful and did all that they could to help us with our room issues.

Management communication and false advertising in the ad. This place was another classic case of each room having a different owner/manager. Some people lived in the hotel, some people are seasonal, some people just Air BnB/short term rent them out. This made cohesion and room upgrades/switches difficult. The ad stated we would get a safe in the room. As it turned out, nothing got stolen and we were happy about that. I've had stuff stolen out of my room in Mexico before, so I was upset our room didn't get the safe and it was my partner's first time in Mexico, so she was hoping for that security too. Also, the ad showed a balcony in the picture with the room. I guess that was Photoshop magic, since we received no such luxury! Too bad. I would have liked that option, as my partner likes to go to bed earlier than I do. Thirdly, we had no hot water and the cloudy days made us crave a shower that was warmer than ours. Everybody else we talked to didn't have that issues, and we kept mentioning it for three days in a row (with the other issues brought up to). We told staff and they kept messaging the manager. We also personally messaged the manager and we're ignored for days on end. Finally, he agreed to move us to a new unit that was the exact same, with slightly warmer water. No safe again. But the best part was that the new room was super quiet and easier to sleep! No more club music until 3 AM!

Great location near 5th avenue and the beach that has a great restaurant, Asi. Check in was a breeze. Rooftop pool and views are the main reason to stay here. Full size fridge, large TV, stove etc was nice if extended stay needed. Have stayed at these condos before, never a regret.

Can always check the room and walk to Walmart to get any essentials. only had an Expresso coffee pot. I got instant and was ok for 1 night.

Price & location

Staff does not clean the room unless you complain to reception when it’s not been done in days, there was no hot water, they refuse to provide clean towels, reception won’t answer basic questions without “contacting your host” whatever that means, only one key for 2 guests, air conditioning doesn’t work, our room was 25 degrees plus the entire week. My girlfriend I I have been to much nicer hostels where we were taken care of better than this place, wouldn’t recommend.
