Close to everything. Restaurants, pubs, Royal Mile etc.

Alastair - the owner - was very kind to meet me in person in advance of my family arriving to hand me the keys. He was very kind and accommodating from the outset and offered to address any issue, before it even arose. Alastair stayed engaged and in contact during my family's visit and answered all questions - even when he was away from Edinburgh. The property was well presented, adequately equipped, and clean. The location of the property is very convenient due to its centrality, and proximity to all amenities and transport.

A minor issue was with the light coming in from the bedroom windows due to the lack of black-out blinds or curtains, which made sleep shorter.

The apartment is lovely. Great location.

The building hallways and stairs could be improved. This is a building issue and does not reflect on the quality of the apartment.

The beds were super comfortable; heaters kept us warm and toasty and the kitchen had everything we needed!

Wish the water in the shower was a little warmer

Alistair is wonderful host. Very responsive and proactive. We had a wonderful stay.

The host was very friendly and ensured we had a smooth check in as well as a good stay. The location is convenient with amenities close by. The suite was comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Everything, as a whole, felt cozy and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and warm, perfect for a cold winter night. I hope to return to Edinburgh some day, when I do I definitely hope to stay here again.

Great value for money. We had a two bed apartment for less than the price of a mid range hotel. Very clean, comfortable beds and Alastair was a very attentive host. The area has lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and a supermarket directly below the apartment.

Nothing - we all loved our stay. Although there are stairs, the view of Arthur's Seat made it worth the climb.
