Laudervale East Penthouse Loch Lomond

Location & standard of accommodation was excellent. Everything you could possibly need was available in the apartment. Will definitely be going back!!

Great location - walking distance to the loch, shops and other outdoor activities. The apartment itself had been tastefully decorated and was comfortable for 4 adults to stay in. Nice views from the kitchen and balcony of the hills.

The hallway was very tired and in need of an upgrade. As mentioned on other reviews the lift didn’t work so might not be suitable for everyone with lots of luggage or mobility issues. Some parts of the apartment were cleaner than others, with the oven trays being left with cooking fat on from the previous guests and sweets on the floor of one of the bedrooms.

couldn't find a dish towel, no salt in dishwasher, weather perfect but no outside seating, need a new frying pan

Location, spacious, able to cook own meals, lovely decor, good sized bedrooms. Coop within walking distance. Pillows and the bed were very comfortable.

Location was perfect. Train to Glasgow, shops, restaurants and Loch Lomond activities all within 5-10 minutes walk. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped.

Not easy to find the actual entrance (although it was the main door!). A description of which door in the instructions would have helped

A few small things would help improve the experience; The apartment is on the top floor of two sets of very steep stairs, which was hard on two elderly travellers with luggage. There is no elevator A few simple adds to the kitchen such as kitchen roll and a tea towel would have been great Some disposable toiletries such as shampoo etc. would be welcome for long distance travellers

Convenient base for Loch Lomond explorations. The apartment, though clean, felt eclectic and dated, showing signs of its age. Recent renovations limited by budget. Good for a quick stay to see the sights.

At least one towel per person is generally expected. Despite owners best efforts of multiple air fresheners the damp and smoke smells remain. The shower system was unfamiliar to us, we did figure it out eventually, with minimal pressure. I would recommend adding instructions for the shower and (sensor) lighting to the guest guide. I specifically booked this apartment for the pool - unfortunately this is an error on the site. Be aware that there is no lift to the apartment.
