Laudervale East Penthouse Loch Lomond

Modern well appointed apartment, great location. Very clean and comfortable.

There was a musty smell apparent each time you entered the apartment, there were numerous air freshers placed around to try to eliminate the smell which could be over powering at times, obviously an old building with dampness, didn’t spoil our stay. The weather was nice during our stay and some garden furniture on the terrace would have been useful to enjoy sitting outside to take in the views.

Bathroom smelt of stale cigarettes, worse some days than others. We thought there was a swimming pool, although we were walking every day so wouldn't have had time to use it.

The location was very hood

There were 45 steps to get into the room. I think someone underneath was smoking as there was a distinct smell of smoke in that room. The apt. May have been locked up for a while as there was a musty smell when you walked In

The accommodation was finished to a high standard and had everything we needed, there were some lovely touches. It was a great location and we were even able to sit outside and enjoy the view in the evening

The stairs to get back after a long day doing watersports! But it was worth it for the views and with a penthouse what did I expect.

Spacious, great views, excellent location, easy parking, well appointed kitchen and bathroom. The flexibility of check in and check out was really good for us.

Common parts are tired, but it looks like they are being addressed. There is no working lift, so thankfully we were travelling light. Could do with more hanging space for clothes and coats.

Nothing.

The property looked neglected with paint peeling off. Building work was evidently in progress. The interior stairway was dirty and run-down. We could not locate the key box and were unable to gain entry, however we were so put off by the poor state of the building that we had to leave and find alternative accommodation at short notice.
