Had 48 stairs to penthouse no lift . Have walking problems so stairs were hard . Wifi went off in bottom bedroom . Other than that very nice place

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment is very spacious for 4 people (2 adults 2 kids) and was very clean and comfortable. It is in a beautiful old building which is clearly having some renovation work done in other areas but the apartment itself is well decorated and very modern.The 2 bedrooms are beautifully furnished, there are wardrobes with plenty of space, and we found the beds very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great too, there was everything we needed. Towels etc were all provided as were cleaning products and shower gel. The sitting room is very spacious, there is a pull out dining table which can be easily folded away. My kids were delighted that the television had Netflix and the WiFi worked well once connected! As its on the top floor there were great views of the mountains and the town. The location is amazing, we could easily walk down the street to find restaurants and shops, the loch is a short walk away and so is Balloch Castle Park. It's also very close to the train station and the main roads, we visited Glasgow, Stirling and Helnsburgh during our stay. The area is peaceful and quiet at nightime and felt very safe. The owner was very helpful and answered any questions I had promptly.

We liked everything although we thought that the top bedroom could do with heavier curtains as its very bright early in the mornings!!!!!Just to note that the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs and there is no elevator so it might not suit people with mobility issues or families with young children, however this was not a problem for us.
