Beach Lodge

Rooms were very clean,comfortable beds,really liked 2 single beds for my kids. Very quiet place and benefit of the balcony.

Location was close to the beach as well as some attractions, plenty of space for parking. Easy to find with the banner outside of the building. The hosts themselves were very friendly, happy to help with any queries we had (including good food locations and best routes to view the isle). The dining area was clean, plenty of space for the kids to run around and play (open lounge-like area for kids games, reading w/sofa). Were able to access throughout the day, hosts made it clear we were able to use the area to eat takeaway in the evening if we so wished. We had the family room which was spacious and clean. Power shower so water was hot if we needed. Plenty of amenities including Roku TV, Coffee machine + Kettle alongside some snacks and juices for the kids. Throughout the experience, the hosts were... well hospitable. Extremely friendly that we ended up chatting away without realising the time. I'd recommend reaching out before booking.

This is a family run, small business. I especially enjoyed the interaction between the owner and my family. Martin is a spot on guy who does everything he can to make your stay pleasant...from local directions to recommendations. He was always available to help. Being able to use the breakfast room to eat our dinner was a big plus as was the "kids nook" with colouring books and such. A short walk to the beach where there is plenty to do and lots of food choices. The train station is about a 7 min walk away and busses can be taken from a variety of stops all within about 1 to 5 minutes walk. The price per night is one of the best around! The place is VERY clean with modern fixtures and is still being upgraded. It's so nice to see a business that cares for the customer's experience more than lining their own pockets! We'll definitely be returning.
