Good location, nice and tidy.

Heating was constantly on and only way of turning it down was to use the TRV’s as the stat didn’t work, the blind in the bedroom was useless so light came in early, wardrobe is falling apart, no mirror in the bathroom to shave and the TV remote only works on some things.

It was a larger property. Spacious.

Heating didn’t work. Plumber was called out. Only 2 radiators worked in the property. Hall and office are radiators didn’t work which made the property very very cold. The hot water wasn’t hot enough for a shower. Shower room was brilliant but due to radiators not working and warmish water for a shower it really put me off. People upstairs were very unruly and I had to call the police out at 5am with someone trying to kick in the front door. Not the owners fault but should have went to a proper hotel.

As we stepped into the apartment, we immediately felt at home, enjoying the homely feeling and general atmosphere. Looking around the spacious studio flat design, we saw how clean and in good repair the apartment was. All the necessary facilities were there in all working order. We slept well on the comfortable bed and the location was perfect for the nearby town centre shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly at the hotel at another location not far from the apartment. For a longer stay in the future, for location and value for money, it is probably the best place to stay.

Not too much to dislike fortunately, only to mention that we had difficulty with operating the electric hob on the cooker with finger sensor operations but not having instructions to understand the process. The shower was quite small and could be a bit of a squeeze for a much larger person to use. Also, some small bedside cabinets would be useful.

It was nicely heated, clean and well situated.

Nothing. I didn’t get to see it as the ‘gentleman’ on reception was rude and obnoxious. I booked the studio apartment last minute after attending the funeral of a close friend. I wasn’t aware of the 250 deposit that was required at check-in, which I had in cash but not on card. They refused to let me check in or stay, and they cancelled my booking, leaving me with nowhere to stay after a very tough day. Not only that, they have refused to refund me for the privilege. The booking was made in haste, and I did not see the policy regarding a deposit. However , one would like to think that under the circumstances, they would have treated me a little more kindly!! Sack the receptionist!! He’s a massive twat!!!
