Love the close proximity to the beach

The price -- and the value for the price -- is remarkable. You are only a two-minute walk from the beautiful bluffs overlooking the beach and ocean. Plenty of restaurants and food options within walking distance also.

I didn't expect the $15 parking fee. Very reasonable fee, but I don't think it was posted in the Booking.com listing. (Or at least not made obvious).

Bed was not comfortable

The Beach Haven was in a great location along Pacific Beach. It was very close to the beach and many restaurants in the area. The pool and hot tub was working which was very nice. The staff was great! No complaints at all! We highly recommend!

Pool hours closing at 9pm and then not opening until 9am felt a bit limiting. The bed was marginal, but acceptable. Overall, no major complaints and we'd stay there again.

The location is amazing, easy parking, cute pool area.

It’s run down. The outside signage is misleading. It looks as if the place has been recently updated, but the rooms didn’t match. This was my second stay and I was expecting a cute beachside motel.

This is a very bad hotel. I stayed in room 115. There was noise from all directions and there was no soundproofing at all. The voices in the next room sounded like they were in your room! The furniture is old and the whole room smells musty. I originally booked four nights, stayed one night and checked out, but was told that two nights would be deducted.
