Eyeful Ella

The host was very nice and friendly, as well as the staff. Location was little bit off center and therefore quiet, which was perfect. The room was spacious. The A/C was new and properly working without any noises.

First of all the building was under construction, the walls of the second floor and the roof were partially missing. The whole bathroom was full of mold dew to humidity and missing ventilation. Also the bedroom was moldy in several places (wall, fan, pillows, curtains) which was disgusting and not healthy at all. There was uncomfortable musky smell all over, the bathroom also smelled strongly like urine and sewage. We only booked one night, otherwise we would not have stayed.

Eyeful Ella is located perfectly - away from the loud main street but only a 15-minute walk from the train station (restaurants and bars are even closer). Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff was attentive and kind.

Depends on what you are looking for: since Eyeful Ella also has dorms, I was expecting a bit more of a hostel atmosphere. I did not see any others guests during my stay.

The staff were friendly, and the room had everything I needed. The facility was a bit basic for my taste, but the price reflected that. It was fine for a one-night stay.

the toilet with bath room without ventilation, when you open a window, the mosquito will come in .

we had 1 of the self contained rooms and found it very good. the place was clean and in a good location, short Tuc Tuc ride from centre. through Tuc Tuc was more expensive than elsewhere in Sri Lanka. we got Tuc Tuc to secret waterfall where you can walk down some steps and swim. if you want to go down further you can find a better waterfall pool to swim in. the Restaurant Raja at the main junction in Ella is the best, great food reasonable priced ( cheap )

we were there 2 nights only so no complaints.

Very nice staff! The rooms were very modern and clean. The location in the city is perfect, about 5 minutes walk.
