Leeds Lodge

The property was cute, it had everything we needed, kept clean and organised. A nice shower in the bathroom (and a bath). The TV had most streaming services so you were able to chill in the evenings. The house felt cool, (outside had highs of 27C degrees), and we didn’t feel too hot in the property, so it ventilates well with the windows open. Tesco express is only a short walk away, so you’re able to buy all bits you need to do your own meals. Especially because the property has all utensils in the kitchen. Also, on the walk (to Tesco) there is an amazing view from the top of the hill, we couldn’t help to stop and have a look and take it all in. (We travelled from east anglia, so it’s rather flat where we live). 4 of us stayed at the property together, and we all had a very nice stay, relaxed and Comfortable with our own space if we needed it. We would definitely stay at this property again

I felt there could have been a little more homely decor, but that really isn’t a fault at all.

There was nothing “bad” about the property

Nothing much to like

Arrived to bin bags thrown in a very overgrown front garden and cats eating out of them. The property had scuffed and damaged paint and woodwork throughout. Heating was not working had to go out and buy batteries for the thermostat and reset the heating. When the heating came on water started dripping through the ceiling from a leaking radiator. One bed was propped up on bricks and when we had showers in the morning water ran through the ceiling into the kitchen. We complained and got a full refund and moved out the next day. This property needs substantial investment to make it habitable. The photos are very misleading.

The 3 bedrooms. Large windows giving the house plenty of natural light. Waking up to the birds singing. Close enough to Roundhay Park.

No access to the back garden due to ongoing work.
