A nice stop for an overnight rest

I bin bag would have been really great and maybe a what three words for the drive entrance would be such a help for those arriving in the dark

Lovely rural location. Host was very pleasant and accommodating. Lovely hot shower - linen, towels and bedding were freshly laundered. Quiet - enjoyed peace and quiet in a pleasant setting. Grounds kept immaculate.

The annexe has so much potential, sadly it looks tired and in need of refurbishment. It was in need of a good clean, kitchen floor was dirty and there was rubbish left in the drawers in the bathroom. I could've done with cooking utensils, a chopping board and a draining rack. I didn't sleep well, as the mattress was very poor and I sunk down to the base. I was looking forward to using the pool, but again it didn't look clean and it was in need of repair. It all needs a bit of a face lift - this could be a really lovely place.

Swimming pool cold dirty in poor shape and no changing room no signs on property so was difficult to find which was the place we where meant to stay host wasn’t very welcoming bed was uncomfortable sockets on wall were unusable as too close to paneling kitchen had poor facilities. Shower raiser broken and control of the temperature was not working correctly. Place was cold and no way to control heating for own comfort

Lovely area and nice hosts

Slightly unclean and door left unlocked with key inside. Bed also has springs poking through meaning we did not sleep well at all.
