Nothing. Unfortunately, there was not a single aspect of this stay that met even basic expectations.

The in-room jacuzzi was completely unusable: ice-cold, impossible to heat, and created so much humidity that we could not sleep at night. The outdoor shower was freezing at night and the hot water was not enough for two people, forcing us to wait between showers. Extremely poor service, long check-in delays, noise from the road, high humidity, insects, and no refund despite leaving early.

To be honest, the place is very beautiful. But some points unfortunately disappointed us, for a night at ~30k MXP… - The sink/tap in our room was not working properly. When I turn it on, the water splashes everywhere and it stained my clothes. I needed to come to you to get it fix by the maintenance staff - The swimming pool is very dirty, with lots of things floating in the water. We couldn’t enjoy it :/ we ask someone from the staff, she replies she’ll come back (but never came) - Someone from the staff entered our room around 10 pm while my wife was in the bathroom, even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on. That is unacceptable. We don’t enter in a private room like that. - None of the electrical socket are functioning normally - Issue with the shower : we had hot water for 2–3 minutes and then nothing… and the shower tray is clogged, leaving stagnant water. The manager was very nice and offered us breakfast as a compensation, but it doesn’t left us with a positive perception..

The room was too cold

The hotel is beautiful, the villa was mostly comfortable. The staff was great, very helpful with everything we needed.

The hot water in the shower ran out after 2-3 minutes. They fixed the boiler but the water only lasted 7-8 minutes.

Our stay at Hotel Milam was beyond amazing. Everything from the beautiful design to the peaceful atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotless and stylish, the service was outstanding, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. A true hidden gem in Tulum — we can’t wait to come back
