Hotel Milam

I stayed her for my mom’s and I birthday in February and had the best stay. The whole staff was amazing. They all treated us so kindly. Hotel is just about 25/30 min away from the beach area. The hotel will call your taxi. My best stay to date. I also love the extra activities they provided

Property was excellent. It was spotless the rooms are out of this world.

Staff from the restaurant were seen to be making fun of other hotel guests. Felt uncomfortable around them. However staff at the reception area were lovely.

The hotel was beautiful and relaxing. Very peaceful and was able to enjoy our time together at the beautiful pool. Very clean atmosphere and the pool. Everyone was nice . I will be returning next year

The pool in the room wasn't heated, so we couldn't enjoy the room pool, but it was still beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed property, which features unique touches that make it stand out. The front desk staff were amazing—they helped us with scooter rentals, dinner reservations, and anything else we needed. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and welcoming. The morning yoga classes were a lovely touch, and the massage at the spa was incredible!

One thing to keep in mind is the location—the hotel is about 15-20 minutes from both downtown and the beach. Tulum taxi fares are quite expensive, ranging from $30-$40 USD per ride during the day and $40+ USD on weekend nights. We used a scooter during the day, but due to the bumpy roads, we opted for taxis at night. This was something we were aware of before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. The biggest downside was the room’s humidity, which is likely due to Tulum’s climate, but it was made worse by the indoor pool (we had the room with a pool inside the room). Unfortunately, the pool water was cold and not very clean, so we didn’t use it. Another inconvenience was the outdoor shower—it only provided hot water for about five minutes, so we had to take quick showers to ensure the next person had hot water.
