The place is running by a nice couple. Beach at the back of the house. There is scooter for rent and breakfast and dinner is available for a fee.

Hikkaduwa backyard beach homestay was fantastic, situated right on the 3-4km long beach line is perfect for surfing, long beach walks and swimming. Host Dilini and her family is incredibly helpful. lovely and the food was fantastic, would definitely reccomend this homestay if you enjoy relaxing on the beach.

Very close to the beach and very good foods. Had a wonderful time there and I got taken very good care of!

I’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Beautiful family, very welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean, the food is amazing, and the family can help you organise whatever you need around the Hikkaduwa area. The price of the rooms and food is very reasonable. And, the property is right on the beach. This is the perfect place to stay of you’re looking for somewhere quiet and local.
