Lovely spacious accomodation in peaceful country setting. Great communication from host. Good facilities. Light breakfast provided which was a pleasant surprise.

This is a lovely concept. A converted portacabin transformed into a lovely lodge. This was roomy, comfortable and toasty warm. The plain outside hides a lovely unit. We used it to go to a function in a local hotel. Taxis can be a little expensive from the Firbog Nook. This would be an ideal place to explore County Antrim hills and glens from. There is no walking to the pub in the evening but if that is not your thing this place will suit very well.

It is a little remote.

The breakfast looked fine , but we didn't eat it , just wanted to leave

The outside was very dreary and uninviting , it was basically a workman's cabin. The interior wasnt much better , the bed clothes had seen better days . Very cold when we arrived , there was a free standing boiler/ tank in the kitchen area that was disguised by some sort of curtain , the facilities were clean , fridge , microwave etc but I'm quite surprised that this has passed regulations for renting out to the public

It was really well presented and cosy.

The drive is a bit rough. Specially at night as it is incredibly dark.
