The staff was very kind and accommodating before the manager arrived.

I got a different room than I booked, which is why I decided to leave after the first night. I offered to pay in cash for the first night but they wanted the full amount for the whole week. I was not ready to do that, so they took me hostage and wouldn’t unlock the hotel door to let me leave. I was kept there for 3 hours debating with them and requesting to call the police. At the end all I could do was bang at the hotel door when someone walked by outside, and cry for help. That upset the manager even more and she started screaming at me. When I started filming her, she physically attacked me and tried to grab my phone. After 3 hours finally they accepted my cash and let me go. The reason this hotel has so many good reviews is because of the previous owner. You can see that all the recent reviews are very different. I really hope the staff find work somewhere else, because they have all been very kind.

El lugar es muy acogedor y limpio. El joven que nos recibió fue muy amable y trató de resolver nuestra situación a pesar de que llegamos muy tarde.

En el número de teléfono que aparece en la aplicación me contestó una mujer muy desagradable, no comprendía lo que le decía y me colgó el teléfono en dos ocasiones. Cuando llegamos al hostal, se comunicó con el joven que en ese momento nos recibió y ella fue muy grosera con él.

Good value for money, nice location in city centre

In booking profile it is said parking is included but when we arrived it was charged additional 5$. We did not have a key of our room (they did not have it) so we had to leave our room and all our stuff unlocked which was very uncomfortable. No hot water in the shower.

A place with great potential. The rooms aren’t bad if you’re given a good one but they prefer to keep them empty as showrooms and shove you in one of the back rooms. Good kitchen.

Infested with cockroaches. Traffic noise. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. Owner paces up and down nervously creating an unpleasant atmosphere where guests are meant to dine and relax. $7 charge for card payments. They get unhappy when you use the kitchen to make your own meals. Only one shower and toilet (together) in the whole place.

Clean, good location, staff did their jobs

Almost No other guests in the hostel, They CHARGED me for a blanket. A BLANKET. They didn't give you a key or a code so the staff had to let you in and out. Also, only 1 bathroom of course.
