Hostal Sole

Breakfast is very good and really nicely served. Great, spacious rooms. Hot showers, comfortable beds.

When I wanted to extend the stay, I got 2x higher price of the night than on booking

Excellent hotel (more hotel than hostel) - very close to the center, beautiful large room with en suite and tasty breakfast. Aircon worked well and was quiet. Very good value for money.

Shower wasn't super powerful when on hot but not really an issue.

It’s was everything you could ask for in a short stay in Santa Ana. The friendliest staff, comfy rooms with an outstanding breakfast. Couldn’t recommend enough.

That we didn’t have longer there.

Hostel Sole is conveniently located right next to the center of town and many bus stations. The kitchen is huge and bathroom is very clean. The dorm beds are full sized beds and very comfortable. Lovely staff. Giovanni was very warm and helpful.

Not the hostel’s fault; I think tourism is just picking up in Santa Ana but not many guests for socialization and meeting friends.

The big bad and the big dormitory room

There is no way to close the door in the dorm and the lock is just from the one side of the door. A lot of moscitos and the shower and toilet of the dorm is in the laundry room of the hostel and it’s not nice. The woman in the reception was not nice to us and very mean, i asked her a couple of questions and she make us a favor that she answered.
