JOIVY Lovely Flats near the City Centre

It was great location, easy access and car park, Comfortable and stylish with all the things you could ask for wifi heating kitchen with all appliances, tv in all rooms, clean

The only thing i could say that was a bit off putting but not major issue as i would go there again. I think the place just needs a bit of tlc like few things need retouching like paint in bathroom with minor mould and few small other things that come loose. But as i said nothing major

Location was good and the apartment was spacious.

The decor lacked personal touches and the whole apartment general upkeep was tired with door handles hanging off. Several doors wouldn’t close and the kitchen floor was worn and appeared dirty even though had been cleaned.

The location was good, and the beds were comfortable.

The check-in and check-out times were incorrect in the booking information, and we only learned about the change upon arrival, which threw off our plans and made for a frustrating experience. The company management was unhelpful and couldn't do anything about it. They said it was because the cleaning crew needed six hours to clean the apartment, yet when we arrived, two overhead lights were flashing which was annoying, so we had to unplug them, and the drinking glasses in the kitchen were dirty.

Hot water heater didn’t work

The property was spacious for a family of four and was in a very quiet area. The beds were comfortable.

We had to make use of the sofa bed for one of our teenage children and it was very uncomfortable.

There is a parking spot

No hot water or heat, water from boiler leaking onto electrical in cupboard when we arrived and no on call service team. Was told to fix it ourselves. Finally got a repair person to look at it the next day but it wasn't fixable, if we wanted heat we had to manually pressurize the system which lead to more leaking. Asked to be relocated or reimbursed and both requests were denied. The dishes in the pantry were dirty. The floors hadn't been cleaned. Smelled like wet socks.

Size and location was good

Very tired, needs updating, floors scratched marked and dirty, door draught excluder hanging off, settees stained, kitchen missing essential items, no dessert spoons, only four mixed mugs one of which had a broken handle, no sink plug, no sink bowl, no draining board, no bathroom sink plug, no shaving mirror above sink, shower head partially blocked and kept falling off, no mattress covers or pillow protectors which are essential cleanliness items in any rented accommodation. The property suited our purpose and it’s location was ideal but we were on holiday and felt like we were slumming it slightly. It wouldn’t take much attention or cost to raise the standard to that of fine a holiday home.
