Cherry Blossom cottage

Lovely character cottage. Good location to explore the High Peak area. Good amenities nearby, shop, pub, park. Excellent communication with owners. Great stay

Sadly no garden for our little dog but we were aware of this on booking and there was a great park nearby.

Lovely overall but pillows were like bricks. Used a chair cushion instead.

Clear instructions given by the host, clean, tidy and very welcoming. Would happily stay again

Liked the location, which was great for walking the dog and we appreciated that it was dog friendly. We liked that the beds were comfy and the place was nice and clean.

When the weather turned cold we didn't know how to put heating on so we reached out to owners but got no reply. Not good. There was some basic things missing such as a wooden spoon (which we supplied and left) No tin opener (we couldn't use our tinned food) No side plates Nowhere to hang clothes in rear bedroom or in bathroom Armchair looked lovely but was not comfy Outdoor space unloved and if we were there longer we would have given it some tlc There were some shelves but instead of being handy spots for guests to put stuff, they were otherwise occupied by plastic plants We managed of course, but for the price we really felt it needed more. It felt a little unsatisfactory as a result.

Everything as described written & photos. Comfortable, clean & beds ok. 10 min walk for town.

Internet buffering so watching a bit of TV difficult. 1 bed in alcove & other next to wall so those people access via foot of bed. but not big issues.

Comfortable cottage with an ideal location for exploring the Peak District. Close to a handy shop and good pubs - The Commercial is a few doors down and does great food with an excellent drink selection. Short walk to a local brewery tap and into Glossop Town for a good choice of restaurants.

A few more pans/utensils would be nice for a self catering cottage. While we managed to cook breakfast for 4 adults it was a challenge!

Bed poor quality

Cottage was clean, beds comfortable, hosts very helpful and friendly.

The Wi-Fi wasn't good, and the lovely French doors opened in to a wall which was a bit disappointing, the street outside was busy for parking and at night it's like a race course drivers speeding past

Attractive, warm, good location, easy access, lovely shower

Bed mattresses poor, soft, no support, springs felt. Radiator in one room rattled loudly intermittently. Lack of cooking equipment. Sim card in router jammed in wrong way so half our stay, until we diagnosed the problem, we had no Internet. The landlord called back when I reported this but put this down to poor signal and didn't offer to come and check.
