Cherry Blossom cottage

We have stayed here before with friends, and it didn't disappoint this time. Cherry Blossom is so clean and comfortable, nice touch with coffee, tea and milk provided. An excellent location to discover Glossop, I would definitely recommend this beautiful gem

Nothing a real home from home

Location in old Glossop was good and no issues of parking. Provided all required amenities Clean bedding and towels too etc.

The house needed a seriously good deep clean. Wasn’t very pleasant to stay in and we definitely left the place cleaner than how it was when we arrived. It’s a good job there were cleaning products under the sink… Wifi stopped working whilst I was trying to attend video calls.

Perfect location

Really small fridge and WiFi was really poor.

everything. perfect for a small family trip. my children are 14 and 9. they had a perfect time. the property is beautiful. a simple 10 minute walk from the train station. Glossop is lovely. the walks around are great. we had a perfectly relaxing stay.

Nicely decorated and location was good

The fridge was too small and nowhere to hang clothes in back bedroom

Comfy sofa. Nicely decorated. Some attention to detail but sadly lacking lots.

The most deceiving photos on booking.com of the street/ outside. This is not a cottage. It is a tiny end terrace and no garden. A guest book full of complaints about the size of fridge and no suggestions have been actioned for over 12 months. The fridge not fit for purpose. No storage area for food so kept ours in shopping bags. No storage for clothes at all in bedroom 2. Not even a hanging hook and hanger. One window looks onto a very close white wall. We just needed a stopover place providing home comfort but it was frustrating not to have the basics like a decent fridge. It is a busy road on a row of terraces. It isn't the row of beautiful stone buildings in the photos.

it's not a dislike, just could be improved. only a tiny fridge it's self catering so need a bigger fridge. we managed for 2 nights but any longer there's no where to store food. also one settee is a struggle for 3 people.

The house was welcoming and ideally situated with walks from the door if you didn't want to drive. Would definitely stay again

Whilst we appreciate the compact kitchen makes equipping it difficult, the tiny fridge was a bit of an issue. Personally I'd get rid of the washing machine, put a full sized fridge in and then you've extra space for another pan or two which would be useful.
