Artto Hotel

The location

Needs refurbishment and a good coat of paint .Looks very outdated and rather grubby. The view our room had was entirely depressing. The staff was not very helpful seeing as the lift was out of order and our room was on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was rather random and the service was below par.

The mouldy croissants (and the staff worker this blamed the night staff) The bathroom light that wasn't working. The shower, which was shabby, came loose and sprayed the whole room, soaking my clothes.

Very central...that's all :-(

The room was not propperly cleaned. The hairdryer was hanging behind the television. Televisioncable was broke. With every train running to Central Station the whole room including the bed was wobbeling. There is a Karaoke Bar just across the road which I could hear loud an clear till the middle of the night. The breakfast is not worth its money. Toast, one sort of cheese, ham, packed cereals and jam. No water. I would never go there again. Espacially not for this money.

Easy check in & perfect location

Warm room with window onto the street, right next to Glasgow Central station. Friendly, available staff. Plenty of hot water. Large bathroom. Good TV and internet access -- everything you might want and need for a stay in central Glasgow. I would not hesitate to stay here again (shout-out to Jazz and the team!).

The decor is a little tired ... but to be honest it's not an expensive/fancy hotel, and the decor is less important than having lovely staff and good facilities that work properly.

The location

It was run down . Lift not working and don’t think it has been for a while . Curtains in room were dirty . Windows were dirty . Carpet threadbare in areas. Grout in shower could have been cleaned . We didn’t shower .
