St Clements Guesthouse

I stayed in the St Clements Guesthouse in Oxford for a work visit. This accommodation was very clean. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was a good place to relax and rest. Yvonne was very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

reasonably central location, very clean

Unmanned, owner clearly lives nowhere near to house. I had some trouble gaining access, as e-mail with key code was sent after I had left, I am one of the 20% without a smart phone. No tv or kettle in room. My room was on the top floor, the kitchen in the basement, so a lot of steps in between. The establishment was clearly set up for a young/student clientele, if your not one of these then perhaps choose somewhere else.

Basic accommodation however it was warm, comfortable and very clean. A good selection of cereals was provided plus bread for toasting plus fruit juice and fresh eggs. The accommodation was unmanned but we found it and gained access easily(via key safe) with the instructions given. Bed comfortable

Other guests appeared to be under the impression that they were the only ones staying, they came in very late and spent a considerable time on the landing outside our room talking on the telephone.

The room was clean and comfortable, as were the communal areas. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items. Instructions for check in were clear and communicated a few hours ahead of arrival.

Nicely located within walking distance from University. Very comfortable room with good, free Wifi.
