Tropinest bungalows & hostel

I had some health issues and they were always available to help, supporting me where needed and being very flexible to make things good for me. Thank you! Very nice staff, good room and location. Highly recommended.

The garden is really beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, it’s a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. We had such a good stay at the Tropinest, we arranged our scuba diving via the tropniest and a massage and got a good price for both. The staff go above and beyond for you here and it’s really appreciated. We had a free BBQ dinner one night during our stay which was so lovely and all guests are invited so it’s such a friendly and welcoming vibe.

We really enjoyed our two day stay at the Tropinest Bungalow! The staff makes a huge effort from the first moment you arrive such as leaving flowers on the bed , giving fresh fruit and refreshments. The rooms are clean and have a really cool patterned roof. The shared bathrooms were regularly cleaned and had locks on all the stalls. The breakfasts were delicious and included eggs, toast, platters of fruit, coffee and fresh fruit juice. The best part was the weekly dinner they host and all the guests are invited! They had a great spread of food, music was played and it had an incredible vibe. Overall, the staff, especially Taha, go over and beyond for their guests, even walking them to town to show where the cheaper mosquito repellent is and the place has a wonderful, friendly and peaceful atmosphere.

The property is set in beautiful gardens it’s very peaceful. I stayed in the female dorm and the bed was comfortable snd the toilets/ shower rooms were clean , there were four of them.. Also the breakfast was nice and the guys that owned your store were amazing super friendly and very helpful.

They should improve cleaning in the rooms. Some parts were never cleaned for weeks. Bed sheets and towel are clean. Veranda was very dirty And toilet and room light should be separated as if they use same switch That's all Overall breakfast was ok

Lovely little place to stay. Good price and really nice breakfast (included in the price), of fresh smoothie, fruits, bread and eggs. The staff were lovely and super helpful. Showed me how to get to the beach. The location is less than 10 minute walk from the beach and close to the main road. The owner even put on a free dinner for us one night of bbq fish, which was lovely! The property itself is super nice, fire pit, lots of trees, and hammocks! The dorm room is nice and spacious with comfy beds (apart from the pillows!). Wifi was reasonably good! Would recommend to others to visit :)

Considering it is newly opened it is doing very well. Just a few minor things that could improve the stay which the staff are working on such as mirrors in the rooms/bathrooms, hot water, comfier pillows! Maybe a sign outside in the street to help locate the property as was hard to find. Other than that it was lovely!

Hotel rooms are nice and clean. Very nice and kind staff. Good price-value!

The location is great, with short distance to the beach. The staff is very nice, every person I met. To my surprise they offered me an upgrade. We had a nice, free welcome dinner... with very tasty fish. They also helped me join different atractions. I traveled around Zanzibar to different places and this is my favorite place. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable :)

You need to invest in the mirror, at least in the bathroom..girls/women need it ;)...and fix the bell at the gate, please.

super nice garden even though still missing more seating areas due to it's still ongoing reopening. Breakfast was nice too and it had a good location for beach, street food and main nightlife. I had the doorm all to myself as it's not busy right now. The bed was very comfortable but had no mosquito net

it was a little hard to find with no door sign and no one except Polo-Pole knowing where it's located. There's quite some improvements to make like the small drawers under the bed functioning as lockers, cleaning the bathroom doors as clothes and towel willg get dirty by some stuff coming out of the new wooden doors and the common areas on the upper levels.
