A little jungle in the heart of Nungwi! It's a place where you can truly escape from the outside surroundings. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Taha, the owner, was a great help, offering valuable advice on places to visit and recommending a great spot to enjoy delicious, reasonably priced seafood. The breakfast served here includes the best fruit smoothies ever! Plus, Taha is a DIVER, so if you're planning to go scuba diving, make sure to ask him for recommendations or assistance.

super affordable and great location. You pass Pole Pole Hotel and walk only 5 more minutes to the beach than from the expensive hotels/ bungalows. Not too easy to find - best is to get dropped off at Pole Pole reception and use the back gate to enter the property. We’ve also been locked out after a night out as they lock the gates at night for safety reasons lol. So better let the staff know when you stay out long. Breakfast is very good!! We extended our stay for 3 more nights. They just re-opened it, so I’m sure there’s more to come!
No mirrors in the rooms so better bring one (:

A Hidden Gem in Zanzibar! I stayed at The Tropinest during my trip to Nungwi, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! It’s a small, peaceful hotel with a gorgeous green garden that feels like a perfect escape from the busy tourist areas. Even though it’s not right on the beach, it’s only a short 6 minute walk away, which made it super easy to pop down for a swim without all the noise. The rooms are cozy and charming, especially the garden view ones, and I loved how quiet it was at night. It’s the perfect spot for someone looking for relaxation. The staff were super friendly and always there to help with anything I needed.
