Much cheaper than nearby alternatives. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had the place pretty much to ourselves as it was off-season

Not really set up for self catering. They let us do our food in the kitchen because they had so few guests but it was clear this wasn’t their usual set up. Toilets smelled on some floors. Communal areas small.

Cally was really friendly & helpful, she made us really welcome and prepared some really tasty pizzas for dinner one evening 😊 The Vagabond is in a lovely village and about 30 minutes drive to Llanberis if you’re looking to climb Snowdon. We had a family room which had plenty of space and the double bed was really comfy. Showers are nice and hot, and there’s an onsite bar if you don’t fancy strolling to one of the pubs/restaurants. This was my second stay and would happily return 👍
