Shin Kadoya

Ryokan service was fantastic and the onsen was great. Even the public onsen were nearly empty when we stayed. Food was top notch and they were accommodating of a food allergy as well. Location was also very accessible by local bus with a bus stop a 5 minute walk away.

Interior was a little bit worn, but not really a big deal.

L’hôtel est dans les hauteurs de la ville, sans taxi il peut être difficile d’accès si vous avez des valises. Il n’y a pas de shuttle bus mais les taxis coûtent peu chers pour aller à la gare depuis l’hôtel.

We've stayed in many onsen ryokans around Atami and we really loved this place. Service, food, facility, everything was really great and we would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you so much!

In room onsen and dining.

Room smelled like a smoking room which is not what I reserved. It did not smell like this the last time I was there in the same room. Food was better last time.

Talk about a vibey place, very comfortable and large rooms with great views from the outdoor baths. The ryokan itself has a charm to it that makes it fun to walk through in the late hours as well. The food was good but unfortunately my fiance had a stomach bug and couldn't partake as much in the meals, but they were very supportive and understanding of the situation.

The air conditioning was just very loud, and at some point I had to turn it off.
