The location if the hotel was great

The Booking.com images did not reflect this dated room at all. This squashed room was stuck in the 80s with no work done on the room since then. The sticky carpet felt like we had to wear our shoes all the time whilst in the room. Why did their photos of the hotel not display this type of their rooms??

Close to puzzlewood nice area.

Room was far to small for the price. The bed was popping with springs. Lamp only on one side of the bed. Shower did not stay up at height kept falling down the pole.

Room was better than our last visit and the beds were very comfortable. Did not like the Shower in the high bath. Can be a bit noisy with golfers, but that is to be expected

Would have preferred a walk-in shower

Location was great and the food over in the clubhouse in the evening was great and well priced.

Beds were uncomfortable. The door outside our room BANGED and shock the room. We asked for it to be slowed (fire door) but they couldn't turn it more. A fellow guest (maintenance man in a hospital) took a look and said the mechanism was fully wound and basically broken. Seeing as when we arrived the cover was off, it won't have been the first or likely last time this has been highlighted. The staff did wedge it open at least. Breakfast at the clubhouse was a bit sub par, coffee machine was great though!

Warm welcome with friendly helpfull staff. Spacious room, nice decor. Nice club house with a good restaurant. Friendly staff in the restaurant and helpful. Large outside seating area.

For me the bed was a bit too firm. We would have liked more wall lights and a lamp on the table
