very outdated rooms and bathrooms, needs a lot of money being put into it. breakfast was dire.

Would have liked more healthy cereal option. Would have liked option of say scrambled egg rather than just fried. Otherwise fine. Location fine.

Perhaps the room could do with some redecoration. Looking a bit tired.

Facilities and location

The people in the next room talking as loud as they could at 6 o'clock in the morning.

Location is ideal for attending a wedding at Clearwell Castle. Also for exploring the area

There is a vibe in the “bar/ members lodge” that isn’t exactly welcoming for visitors.

The staff were very friendly, plentiful parking. Good to have a bar on site

We booked a "suite" and expected the room to be of a reasonable quality. There was nothing to make this room a "suite" rather than just a double room. The shower was above the bath and I would have expected a separate cubicle, the furniture was marked and old, standard TV channels, no Netflix or similar. The worst part about this accommodation was how tired the decor was, both leading up to the room and once inside - paint chipped off walls etc. This was really not of acceptable quality. No iron in the room, no safe, not even a pack of biscuits!
