A lovely quirky stay for two nights in this self contained double decker bus. Victoria welcomed us with a full history of the vehicle and some local information. The bus is fully equipped for self catering if you need it.

My husband found the headroom upstairs and the stairs a little challenging. It was quite chilly in the evening, so not for him

We loved staying in an old bus. We like quirky. Victoria was very helpful, welcoming, and correspondence was good. Proximity to Queenstown is good, and only a short drive.

Not so keen on the position on the road. But on reflection, it was quiet. Be aware the bus is very old, but we think the price is right.

Loved the area, the novelty, good facilities, toilet is plumbed in!! Bed had lots of nice blankets.

I'm very tall for a female so I did have to duck quite a bit which is okay haha.

It is a very novel stay and a little quirky but very nice it would be a bit cold in the winter though.

Nothing everything was explained to us when we arrived.

Les hôtes habitent à 30 mètres du bus et ne viennent pas nous saluer. Le bus est stationné dans un lotissement. La température de la partie basse du bus est celle de l’extérieur soit 10 degrés le matin. Pas d’isolation. Pas d’eau chaude pour la douche. Nous envoyons un message à nos hôtes. Réponse écrite trop tard. Le gaz était vide. Ne convient pas pour une personne de plus de 1.80m qui doit vivre courbée. Prix exagéré pour les prestations. Le maximum devrait être 70 à 75€.

l'idée de dormir dans un bus impérial est géniale malheureusement, ce bus de 1966 est absolument inadapté à un hébergement correct

Nous avions réservé pour 2 nuits que nous avons payées, nous y sommes restés qu'une seule et nous sommes partis D,abord le bus se trouve sur un parking isolé d'un lotissement en face de maisons. Ensuite, l'agencement et l'équipement sommaire du bus est du domaine du bricolage Rien n'est aux normes : électricité, wc, sdb, cuisine etc•••• pas de serrure !!! l'ensemble est vétuste et très sale il y a des courants d'air partout , il faut camoufler la porte pour se protéger du froid il pleuvait cette nuit là il y avait des fuites d'eau !!! Rien n'allait Nous ne comprenons pas comment Booking peut proposer un tel hébergement A fuire......

Sleeping in a red double-decker bus was something I had never imagined, and it turned out to be absolutely magical. The bus is thoughtfully equipped — hot water for coffee, a clean bathroom, a cozy sofa — everything you need, yet with such a unique charm. What I will remember most is lying inside the bus, quietly watching the mountains of Queenstown through the windows, as the light slowly changed from daytime to night. The world felt calm, still, and unbelievably beautiful. It’s a feeling that’s hard to put into words. This place is not just accommodation, it’s a memory I will carry with me for a very long time. Thank you for creating something so unique and special. I would give it more than five stars if I could.
