I have stayed here before and will do so again

I would really appreciated being able to watch BBC1, BBC2, BBCNews programmes on the TV

Exceeded our expectations. Had everything we needed. We felt safe and comfortable here. It was very clean and welcoming. We had clear and friendly communication with our hosts.

There was nothing to change.

Location was perfect in the town centre, easy to find and parking too

The TV didn't work after the first night, I did message the host but he said he never received the message ?? Also on the first morning ( Saturday) the shower was getting cold after a while but I managed to finish my shower ok and I thought it was out of hot water so no issue. Also the shower screen is fixed to the bath which makes it hard to reach the taps for.the shower as it works off the main water supply and it was so sensitive to get the right temperature for the water so not easy!! The next morning ( Sunday) no hot water at all in the bathroom or the kitchen, ( I was out all day and eve Saturday at a wedding so hadn't been in the apartment till midnight so didn't realise no hot water was going to be an issue until I tried to shower) He told me there was a secondary emersion heating switch ????, that i knew nothing about or was told so not helpful.

The location was great not far from Station and on the High St.. The video instructions showing g how to get to front door were amazing.. Without them It would have been difficult for me to find it. Did not get to meet the person but they were in contact each day checking if everything was OK. Rooms great size with nice co ordinated furniture and trimmings.. tons of shops nearby and Castle all in short walking g distance and lovely walks along the river.

It was a hot couple of days and flat gets very hot... If you open the windows it is way too noisy as on high st with bus stop directly below and street light directly into the flat It.was quite dusty but not dirty. Could do with hand towels in Bathroom instead of a tea towel... Not great for people with mobility problems and large flight of stairs to flat which is over a shop. Would book again but not in Summer.

Taifur communicated with me beforehand and was very helpful in meeting me as soon as I got from the airport to Tonbridge. Even showed me where the parking spot was on a video. Very helpful and polite. He noticed that the weather was going to be hot and provided a fan. Extremely convenient flat with parking. Nice living room, full kitchen with washing machine. Small table and chairs in kitchen. Perfect for one person. Detergent, soaps, coffee, sugar, oil, salt supplied. Very quiet with windows closed even though on High St. Not a noisy area day or night. Very safe. Plenty of storage and hangers. Everything convenient

a little more deep cleaning, baseboards etc.

Room heating was efficient and the bed comfortable.

Had we known in advance of the welcoming notice ‘Please take off your shoes’, effectively expecting us to walk around in our socks, we might not have booked at all. The felt-tip pen instruction ‘strictly no shoes please’ was unwelcome, as one of us has had bilateral total ankle replacement operations and wears quality trainers with orthotics for comfort. Luckily, he’d brought a pair never worn outdoors, to cope with such an eventuality. Bedside furniture both sides would have enhanced comfort. Why is the bed so closely against the window curtain, precluding any useful surface being that side, when opposite is a huge lamp taking up much space on the only bedside table? Bedroom privacy is compromised when curtains are opened to any extent. Blinds would alleviate this. All the windows could do with a good clean on the outside. In the bedroom and sitting room were unfixed full-length mirrors leaning respectively against a heater and wall. These are safety hazards. The apartment is designated a ‘quiet house 9pm – 8am’: very agreeable, but noisy exercise routines performed next door around 5.30 am did not reciprocate this sentiment. We never did work out what the handwritten instruction in the bathroom ‘please keep toilet dry’ meant us to do, or not do. The bath mixer tap outlet was blocked up with plumber’s substance, presumably in order to prevent having a bath. Showering was the only option. WhatsApp advice told us how to be assured of hot water, requiring ‘Immersion 2’ to be switched on for a strictly limited time. In the event, a second morning’s showering was cold because we hadn’t put on Immersion 2 beforehand. ‘Immersion1’ had been left on constantly, as instructed, but we don’t know what function it fulfilled. Filling the basin was a challenge with no plug. A cup was used as a plug. Fridge access was difficult because of its position and opening of its door, and the space used by the stools and table. Putting the waste bin in a cupboard would help.

I stayed in this apartment for a few days and it was amazing, it has a great location, clean, the decor is beautiful. I recommend for sure
