Sigiriya Rastha Hostel

Great place to enjoy the cultural and beautiful area. The hostel is mew amd really clean. Wooden beds with good materials, quiet place with kitchen and chill vibes to be in touch with the nature. The lwner is really helpful in everything you need and he has bikes to rent.

A lot of mosquitos outside,but this is the price to pay for stay so close the nature

No idea why this place has such a high rating. It's not warranted! No working WiFi Frogs in the bathroom Linen and entire place dirty Host charges more than specified in booking Host tries to hard sell safari and makes kickbacks from it

Everything including location

The staff is really nice and I just love their gesture of treating the people. I recommend everyone to travel here and you will just love the nature around. Thank you it was like meeting a family

Price is low

Location is in the middle of the forest, you don't get any food nearby. Wild elephants near the hostel.

The host Kostha is a great guy. He is super friendly and is always proposing plans and helping with what to do around the area. He also offers to rent one of his scooters or even takes you to different places. He usually cooks dinner and shares it with the guests. Having hosts like him makes the experience of staying in the place much better.

Not the fanciest place and a little bit away from the center, but you can manage with the scooter.

Really loved the vibe, the hostel itself is among the trees and they are even building a tree house, you have hammocks to chill and the common space is really cozy

I really liked everything

Kostha and Isuru are incredibly good hosts. They showed me around the neighbourhood as soon as I arrived. After swimming in the lake, they took us to a secret viewpoint from where you could see Lion Rock and Pisurangala. The next day they got up extra early to show us the sunrise, which was extremely worthwhile. After that, they showed us the whole day and I saw places that I would never have seen otherwise. It was a great stay that I will never forget!

This hostel have a really good vibes. I really enjoy be here. Khosta, the manager reccomend me a lot of places to visit and he give a lot of information about the places, also they give me coffee and we spend the time with good music and talks. Thank you Khosta and Isuru for the best secret hiking places!!!
