Sigiriya Rastha Hostel

The garden is great with the hangmatte, but it’s not really finished yet. The stuff was friendly and helped in every situation.

I didn’t felt safe for my stuff in that place. There no lockers. They tried also to charged me 400 rs that I used the gas stove in the kitchen, but booking says, that the kitchen is included. At the end, it was fine, that I didn’t payed that but yes … The breakfast was just toastbread with some jam and a little bit of papaya. It’s okay but not a really nice breakfast.

I had such a good stay at Rastha Place, it’s small with only 4 beds but has a nice little place to hangout and socialise. Kostha was such an amazing owner, he cooked breakfast each morning and took me out on his scooter to see Sigirya which was very kind of him. Thanks so much Kostha !!!

Not good if you are looking to meet a lot of other travellers as it’s super small but I still found it very social and a good place to chill

I had the best stay in this hostel. 🫶Kostha is really fun, kind and helpful. 😉 Also his family is very nice. You can rent a bike, use nice kitchen, chill outside and much more. Thank you for everything! 🥹🙏❤️

The owner is friendly

I find the high score unfounded. The owner is nice but quite unprepared, very limited English, seems elsewhere. It is a basic hostel, do not expect comfort, but it is ok for backpacking. A small capacity of 4 beds, so come with friends or you will get lonely. I rented a bicycle, it broke down on the way, had to walk 50 min back under the hot sun.

Costa was a great host. Quiet and small hostel

Small & quiet place surrounded by nature. Costha ist very friendly!

A bit far away from the main things to visit. The place also just has 4 beds so don’t expect a big social hostel :)

10 out of 10 Kosthas is the best host ever . I have been traveling for long time and I never met such a good host ! Always eager to help you ! Definitely I recommend this place
