The Burnside Apartment

Very cosy apartment, loved the log fire, made it very cosy when it was snowing outside. Extremely clean and well equipped, great kitchen facilities. Dan and Yvonne were extremely helpful and went over and above to make our stay amazing. Great information book in the apartment with lots of interesting info on the area and nice walks etc. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back soon!

Lovely apartment in quiet village with a great shop. The apartment was very well equipped with modern, quality furnishings - new kitchen and bathroom, great bedrooms and a very welcoming lounge with a real log fire. Really comfy bed, lovely crisp sheets, white fluffy towels. Hosts were fantastic, with a 'goody' basket that even included home-made shortbread, with tea, coffee and fresh milk in the kitchen too. I loved my stay here.

All good - as others have noted, steep external stairs up to apartment may not suit everyone (but they are well lit).

Quiet location with plenty of walks nearby. Excellent facilities within the apartment and a very comfortable stay.

Steps are really steep and narrow and I have big feet. But not much you can really do about this.

Such a quiet little apartment in Fettercairn! perfect for us when attending a wedding nearby and in a lovely little village. Two good sized bedrooms and the lovely hosts had already lit the fire for us arriving so it was nice and cozy. Definitely recommend!

Welcoming hosts, always on hand to assist. Bumper welcome pack with local treats. A warm winter retreat in an unspoilt area of the country.

It is a lovely and cosy apartment right in the centre of the village. Everything has been thought of and catered for - from the fully equipped kitchen, to the the welcome gifts on arrival, to the comprehensive apartment/local information pack. It had even been decorated for Christmas - nice touch. All the rooms were clean and tidy, and the whole property had a very relaxing feel to it. It was great coming back to the warmth of the Wood Burning Stove after a long day outside in the cold too! It is a perfect place to stay, unwind and explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
