Firefly Boutique Lodge

The place is on the roadside and you can hear every little sound from outside. I couldn't sleep. Thankfuly I was there for only one night. I could hear motorbikes and people the whole night.

La terrasse est incroyable, super pour se relaxer (mais musique en continu). Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées. L emplacement est bon. Farai donne de précieux conseils.

Dans la chambre familiale les matelas ne sont pas tous bons, la fenêtre ne ferme pas bien et certains matins c est très bruyant côté rue.

The location and property is really great and the staff is super friendly. Also food was extremely good! Nothing to complain about at all. Thanks for having us!

Reception was pleasant with friendly staff, and the seating around the pool very nice to spend some time. Food tasty, but beer can be much colder.

The noise from the street was unpleasant, although it is accepted that there is nothing management can do about it. Sad not to have a swimming beach nearby, but yeah, same reason.

Loved the building and the location. We spent lots of time relaxing in the garden area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfy beds and hot showers. Really loved our stay!

We had mosquitoes in our room but thankfully had our own mosquito net to hang inside the one provided in the room. Also the Wi-Fi did not work in our room- had to go out to the patio in order to have a signal.

I liked the intimate spaces to sit and relax and the old world charm of such a historical building.

The floor in our room was a little sandy. The rooms and the menu were a little expensive.

We loved the atmosphere at Firefly. There were so many cool places across the property to relax and enjoy ourselves. The esthetics are fantastic. The location is greay. Right in the heart of Bagamoyo's Stonetown, close to the beach and fish market.

Since it's in the heart of Bagamoyo it can get a little noisy, but we had ear plugs and had no problem sleeping.
