The photos were nice.

Our room (villa) wasn’t ready until a day late at 5pm. Even then it hadn’t been cleaned. The ocean is cleaner than the villa pool. The floors look nice, but they aren’t sealed and the concrete dust is uncomfortable. Electricity was occasional. There were areas of tiling unfinished. Sewer smells from the plumbing. The shower drain was blocked by someone else’s hair.

we had the buffet dinner very nice, although was a bit on the higher side.

The dinner was cost was on the higher side.

Staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff and historical building

Not all the items on the menu were included in the bed and breakfast rate, some we had to pay separately. It's best if they separated the menus so no last minute surprise. When we booked, we thought that the hotel was on the beach, that's why we chose it, but when we got there we realized that there was no direct access to the beach and when you eventually get to the beach, it's actually filled with fishermen and their boats so quite noisy and smelly sometimes. We did not quite understand why the direct access to the beach was sealed.

A beautiful old house with rustic interior. A bit worn out but still a nice place. Great pool for relaxing swim, good food and very friendly staff. The location is convenient for sightseeing the stone town of bagamoyo.

Customer service is bad, the place is so stuffy and the rooms looks like they haven’t got customers for months as you can smell on stuffy air that welcome you to the building.

the dorm is a bit of a cave. also the photos look a bit brighter than they are.. but hey, you are in Bagamoyo and it is a great place to sray.

A beautifully renovated building with a great pool area to relax around in the evenings.

We came to breakfast an hour before the time we were told it finished and the food was all gone. I think we were told the wrong time upon checking it.
