Cozy little place, lovely setting on the water and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Loved that its dog friendly

Absolutely perfect place , the pictures don't do it justice! Everything is very spacious, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom. Very laid back place

Location was great, less than 20 miles to Alton Towers. Only 10 miles to Derby city centre.

Could have done with another door between master bedroom and second bedroom.

What an absolute little gem this place is, we fell in love with it straight away, beautiful location not too far away from amenities etc,lodge was spotless,had absolutely everything you needed,so so peaceful.The photos online don't actually do it justice,and it's much bigger than it looks.The lady who checked us in was lovely helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.We had an amazing long weekend here,hubby did loads of fishing from the deck outside the lodge and on the main lake,he thoroughly chilled out.We spent our evenings sat outside with a g&t (or two) just enjoying the beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet.We will definitely be booking again,highly recommend this place.This was our most favourite break ever.

The lodge was big and spacious, perfect for the 5 of us and the dog. The master bedroom was huge and the children loved the bunk room. The grounds of the property are nice too.
