Blackbrook Lodge Cabin

Lovely lodge, much more spacious than photos and very clean. The beds were really comfortable so we slept well. Could see fishing lake from the veranda and it overlooked the small pond. Little shop was useful. Very dog friendly, pets welcomed. The external door to the lodge is a stable type door where the top half can be opened if you just wanted fresh air without the dogs getting out.

If I'm being picky (and it didn't spoil our break), the outside could do with a lick of paint and the veranda from the lounge wasn't secure so the dogs had to be let out through the patio doors from the bedroom if they wanted to sunbathe and take in the sights (it was obvious this was being worked on).

No bin liners for the bin , bed far to soft , could do with some blinds rather than the small nets to stop the sun glare when watching tv , No door separating the main bedroom from the joint room , View from the back was like a builders yard which the owner did state they were doing there shop up

The whole experience was awful!! Rude staff and dirty room

The whole experience! We arrived for what we thought was a relaxing weekend after spending over £500 for 3 nights on this room we arrived to a lovely lodge until we walked inside 🤢 there was dirt and dust everywhere! Spider nest hanging in the living room cobwebs hanging from each picture. My 3 month old babies dummy fall under the sofa and it came out black I had to throw it away! Not just that the staff are rude they are constantly spying on you. We asked for our daughter to come and stay Saturday night which was agreed and no more money was needed till Sunday morning the owner decided she wanted £20 for bedding to be washed when the beds had been paid for. We requested for log burner which was asked for all weekend which we never got also the WiFi didn't work the whole experience was awful we went for a relaxing break which turned out to be awful DIRTY UNCOMFORTABLE BREAK AND COULDNT WAIT TI LEAVE we also had no light outside due to flooding the whole experience wasnt as planned if your happy to spend £500 on filth then this is your place! Disgusting will never be returning AWFUL OVERALL
