Paul is ontzettend vriendelijk en een leuke gastheer. De bedden sliepen heerlijk! Lekker beddengoed. En goede kwaliteit. Dat hebben we wel anders meegemaakt in Schotland.

Een kleine vaatwasser hadden we wel fijn gevonden. En misschien wat meer basis in de keuken zoals koffie etc.

Beautiful property in an idyllic location. My room and bathroom were spotlessly clean with traditional style features and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order with cereals and fresh fruit also available. The lodge itself feels very welcoming and cosy and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. I will definitely be returning for another stay in the future.

We've spent sadly just two days at this wonderfull place.. Even after late comming the staff was waiting and welcoming us.. Welcome drink in comfy room with fire lit on was a blessing after long drive.. The Blue Room we slept in was very spacious, clean and comfy.. It was very hard to wake up from the bed for day trips :-) Breakfast was another pleasant surprise.. Paul the owner is super friendly, willing and nice to talk to.. Staff did what was seen in our eyes :-) Completely different level of accomodation we've been used to and pictures on the page lies! In reality it is even better and nicer :-) If you think about staying around it is a must.. Thank you..

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a few days at Spean Lodge with my parents and girlfriend, staying in the spacious and beautifully appointed two-bedroom family apartment. This historic house has such charm and character — you can truly feel its soul in every corner. The surrounding garden is simply stunning and perfectly maintained, making it a peaceful haven to relax and enjoy the Highland atmosphere. A special thank you to Paul and his sister Jackie for their warm hospitality. They made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail made the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay with heart, history, and Highland beauty.

The property was very nice. Our room was perfect for a family of three. Our host Paul was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for a 2nd night, which I imagine wasn’t easy for Paul but he made it work without hesitation. If we ever return to the area I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The location worked for us and compared to other properties in the area, it was a great value. Also, the beds were the most comfortable we experienced during our week in Scotland.

The property is close to A82, so I thought there might be some highway road noise. It was just barely noticeable and reduced to near nothing over the course of the evening. That’s all I can come up with for a negative. It really was an excellent 2 days.

Beautiful property, stylishly decorated. Comfortable beds and lovely breakfast in the morning.

Quilts were a bit too warm.

Paul was simply a wonderful host, beautiful well kept property, great linens and an amazing breakfast. Worth the trip.

Quiet friendly relaxing. Great owner. Very helpful. Enjoyed sitting room with a warm fire. Excellent breakfast.
