Great location. Close to shop and pub. Beautiful lodge and garden.

Paul met us upon arrival and escorted us to the spacious apartment. The space was clean and comfortable and I loved the fabrics used for the drapes and daybed. The lodge is located on the river adjacent to Spean Bridge with beautiful hikes nearby.

Spean Lodge is a true hidden gem—secluded, serene, and brimming with character. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Paul and his sister Jackie, whose gracious hospitality instantly made us feel at home. The lodge itself is immaculate. Our room was spotless, generously sized, and perfectly cosy—combining comfort with understated elegance. Every detail reflected thoughtful care and high standards. Set beside a gentle stream, the grounds exude a peaceful, almost sacred quality. The soothing sound of the water, the lush greenery, and the overall tranquillity make Spean Lodge feel more like a retreat than just accommodation. This is more than a place to stay—it’s an experience that lingers. We left feeling restored and grateful. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and a touch of magic in the Highlands.

If there’s one regret, it’s that we only stayed for one night. Spean Lodge is the kind of place that truly deserves a longer visit—somewhere to slow down, unwind, and fully take in the beauty and tranquillity it offers.

My children and I recently spent two wonderful nights at Spean Lodge. Paul is the most gracious host - he made us feel at home. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable and we were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning. For supper, there’s a lovely restaurant by the train station. We also loved the beautiful woodland path to the Commando Memorial. Spean Bridge is a lovely place and a short drive to everything you want to see in the area - don’t hesitate to book. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely lodge with perfect location and host. The room is very comfortable, we had the best sleep here. Even though we were late for the breakfast, the host still made us tasty brunch. The decorations and beddings are very thoughtful, don’t miss this gem.

Loveliest B&B on either side of the pond. Spacious room with exquisite bedding and high end mattress, lovely active fireplaces, attentive personable innkeeper, delicious made to order breakfast. Don’t miss this gem.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spean Lodge. The house itself is warm, charming, and full of character, a perfect retreat surrounded by stunning lawns. Rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished and the log fireplace added to the experience which our kids loved. What truly made our experience special was the host Paul. He was there when we arrived and was incredibly welcoming, attentive to all our requests, full of helpful local tips and we enjoyed the wonderful small conversations with him through out the stay. This place is highly recommended

Wi-Fi was extremely patchy perhaps that’s the case in the highlands.

Paul is the best host ever!!! The B&B is so special, an 18th century house that Paul decorated in such unique and warm way. There are fresh flowers everywhere , the guest lounge is huge but still so cozy with a fire place running. The breakfast is really delicious, and the space is really welcoming and relaxing. The room was really specious and comfy. We didn’t want to leave!
