Spean Lodge

Spean Lodge is located right off the main road, close to the bridge over the river Spean. The house is like a carefully crafted jewellery box displayed on a green cushion and it is surrounded by the bounciest lawn I've ever walked on. We stayed in the so-called 'Wee apartment' which is a separate, self-sufficent part of the Lodge, with all the amenities you might need. If you are visiting from overseas, though, it might be a good idea to pack an adapter for your electronic devices. The apartment has been recently refurbished and a lot of attention has been put to even the tiniest details. The whole place has a warm atmosphere, and it surely has to do something with Paul, the host, who is super friendly, helpful and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend the Lodge to everyone who likes places with a turn of the century vibe.

Amazing hotel, spotless clean , delicious good quality breakfast and friendly faces . The location is great to visit West Coast coral beaches , Harry Potter Train or Glencoe. Highly recommend if.

Great location in Spean Bridge for local attractions. Handy for the local shop and lovely grounds.

Beautiful old building impeccably furnished and maintained, large space, comfortable facilities, decent location.

Location, but that ended up being a complete non-issue. Proximity to services and excellent sound-proofing more than made up for its being right next to the main route through the little town of Spean Bridge. Tucked away below the bridge itself, the grounds were beautiful and again, the property itself was marvelous.

Loved everything about this guest house. Nice yard to sit in when the weather permitted. Paul was very attentive and helpful with good advice on close attractions. Location was great and the facilities as well.
