Gower Bungalow Mumbles

The local area is stunning and the hospitality locally is second to none. The bungalow has everything you need for a short or longer stay.

The bungalow is in an awkward location for those with any mobility issues. Please take this into account if staying as there are some very steep roads to reach the location. Although this is the nature of the area.

Expensive for what you got, has radiators plus electric heaters, in every room,have to pay for electric if you use over a certain amount, dirty nets, not accurately described on information, Out side cushions for seating in a dustbin, which we’re going mouldy, bathroom tap sprayed directly at you, on using shower I turned it off and on to rinse again and it was really hot. We were very disappointed

Great location for touring the Gower. The self catering accommodation was well equipped for preparing simple meals. Paula was very helpful when we had any difficulty, though we had trouble making phone contact.

Nothing for us.

I loved staying in this wee home away from home. It was well kitted-out and had some great spots for soaking up the sun. The location was also really handy for the Mumbles - not right in the town but not too far away, and really close to the Coastal Path.

I didn't realise there was an electricity meter when I checked in and had to top that up on my last night, while there was also some construction happening next door so it was a bit noisy (but I know you can't control that).

location was brilliant

Lovely little tucked away and well equipped bungalow with a useful outside seating area and for me, the added bonus of a cafetière. With a bus stop just around the corner we only used our car once, when visiting Rhossili. There is an enjoyable walk down the coast to Mumbles or we got day tickets on the bus so that we could hop on and off throughout the day ( they did give me a discount with my English bus pass). We came here for my 70th birthday and it was smashing. Clyne Gardens is a real must see and the walk back from Mumbles up through Mumbles Hill Nature Reserve is good.
