Exactly as described, spacious, clean , central.

Super convenient right beside the bus station, shopping district, and supermarkets (ASDA, lidl, sainsbury). Beach is a nice 15mins walk. Apartment came with a nice kitchen, TV, work desk, sofa, and gorgeous bathroom. Nice modern style as well. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to enjoy a calm trip away from the bustling city. Host and Jane (housekeeper) were really friendly.

We genuinely LOVE Folka Rocks. George & Jana are both truly lovely people who are going above and beyond to make this a "must come back" property. As the owner, George is putting blood sweat tears love and cash into effforts to make good great. I cant commend him enough, and even if it's via messages I enjoy chatting with him a lot. It's a never ending animal keeping up appearances in a property, if takes dedication and drive and a whole heap more. George will win here, hands down. Jana is the property Housekeeper and just truly special. Hardworking is an under statement. But she goes above and beyond. A knock on the door around 1900, there she was with coffee pods for the truly cool  new machines they have put in, because she did not think there were enough, she had gone to a supermarket, bought extra and returned with them - lovely. Flat B is on the 1st Foor, steps up. Just be aware they are a little steep, as is usual in this age of property. Its more traditional space than the on the lower two floors, but it's still got great decor and it's own cool vibe. You can see where Georges magic touch have been. The bedroom to the rear is compact, but all you need, the quality is in the mattress, bedding, linen etc. Bathroom to the middle has definitely had the magic touch! To the front a nice picture window frames the living / dining / kitchen space and bathes it in natural light. The huge sofa bed is fab, totally comfy and yep I fell asleep on it. It's low to the floor mind!! We loved the dining area, it's one thing lots of places miss out on all together, so much so that we ate dinner and chatted at midnight (the benefit of a most talented Chef in the family - note not me?). Kitchen has the mod cons including a washer dryer, again something over looked a lot but not here. Swanky new coffee machines of the Pod variety, a big plus for those who partake.

I'm nit picking to say the least here, and George is one of the most receptive people ever, he has welcomed feedback and done things about it. I think it's really difficult to get it right all the time and for everyone - you can't, and we the guest should not expect places to. There are 3 things for me id like to see tweaked. 1. The flat shares the common stairs with one other. I don't feel the door to the flat the most secure, it needs bolts, a peephole and use of the second lock. The people upstairs were standing outside it whispering at one point, and it made me uncomfortable to say the least. 2. Please deal with the clothes rail and coat hangers - they are letting you down I believe. Where they are you could have a wall mounted rail and reasonable hangers. 3. I would produce a Kitchen Inventory, laminate it and leave it on the work surface. This will do a couple of things - tell guests you have one, that you do or do not have things, and that you check it. Use it as a tool to communicate "accidents happen and we understand, but please just tell us" Look at what a standard kitchen has and do this for 6 people, stock to that level. Buy things that are simple, white, not part of a set that if you break a mug you are done for. Oven gloves, a colander and whiteware to use in the oven, and pans that are OK on the hobs you have. See these are niggles, but if I know one thing, they will be sorted for next time. If I can give one piece of advice, just book this place, go see for yourself what it's all about. You won't regret it at all.

A very comfortable, stylish apartment. Luxurious decor, great features including a free standing bath in one of the bedrooms. Cosy, warm apartment with Smart TVs and well fitted kitchen. Location good for Creative Quarter, Harbour and beaches. Highly recommend

Central location, close to shops, creative quarter and the seafront. Good space for 3/4 people. Warm and cosy, in a quiet area. The owner was very good at communicating prior to and during our stay.

Bathroom small but perfectly useable. Minor comment - basin small and with the cupboard above it there was limited space.

Most everything. Its special. Unique. Quirky. Has claas style and taste. IT ROCKS. LOVE the location, the huge bed, the in room tub, the bedroom chair (it's a surprise go see), the layout, the decor. But most of all we loved Jane and her housekeeping efforts and the host George. They make this place Folka Rocks they truly do. We can't thank them enough 💕

This isn't the hosts fault at all. The internal stairs are shallow just take care. George is clearly always making improvements which is a great thing.
