Melina Central Apartment Taormina

Location was very central, right on the Main Street close to shops and restaurants. Apartment was spacious and had the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor, size and cleanliness of the apartment was wonderful. There was even a small peek of the ocean from the main bedroom overlooking the alleyway down to the water - a pleasant surprise.

The location is above many restaurants, so the noise of the rubbish collection is quite loud in the mornings from glass bottles and the trucks. We were aware of this from reading other reviews, so it was helpful to be mindful of this when booking. Otherwise, fantastic stay.

The decor was beautiful and the apartment was clean and spacious

The hot water ran out quite quickly for 3 people. Good enough for showers but not if everybody wanted to take a bath at night. But it was not a big issue. Couldn‘t find a cutting board or a hand juicer

Very welcoming with lovely decor and great sized rooms. There were additional items for kitchen and bathroom not often available with a holiday let such as washing up liquid and a hairdryer with diffuser which I much appreciated! Central location - the small balcony is great for watching the world go by. Easy to communicate with the owners. And thank you to Roberto who showed us the flat and helped with local information.

Can be noisy at night with the local bars/restaurants, and the bin men do an early round - possibly every week day.

Central to shops and restaurants, easy to get around

The noise during the night and early morning due to rubbish pick ups and delivery trucks starting from 4am. We didn't realise this when we booked. Maybe next time we stay a little further out.

Everything! It was absolutely perfect, the best property we have ever stayed at on Booking.com It was modern, large, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also in the best possible location.
